Q: How do you apply printed papers to candles using Mod Podge® or Royal Coat® Decoupage Finish?

A:

1. Using scissors or a craft knife, cut pictures or designs from paper.

2. Glue cutouts to project by placing cutout face down on waxed paper or foil and coating the cutout back with the medium using a foam brush to apply. If you cutout is very thin such as a design from tissue paper, you will want to coat the area of the candle instead. Place design on candle and press in place with fingers or damp paper towel to smooth and remove air bubbles. Allow to dry.

3. Seal with additional coats to finish.
